Our Story

A RHUBARB PATCH?

Maghull Baptist Church was built over 65 years ago when a group of people decided to build a local baptist church. The work began in the late 1940s, and the first building was erected in 1951 on what had previously been the rhubarb patch on a local farm,  owned by one of the founder members. This is now the church hall,  with a new worship area being built in 1976. Over the years, the church has grown and we have added buildings to cater for the many things we have going on in the church.

Today there are activities for all ages from babies to the elderly, both on a sunday and on various days during the week.
